Well, of course, it will be a good bit - it always is with teens. But you should be sure to ask for a multiple vehicle discount, and a good student discount (if it applies). You can also see if they will give you an additional discount if your teen takes a defensive driving course.

It depends. If he or she is a full time driver, then it will be more expensive. Coverage for part time drivers rate is better especially when it's added to the current policy.
