How much more would insurance be for 16 year old with a V8 mustang as opposed to a 6 cylinder one?

I would be on my parents plan at Allstate. It would be in the years from 1994-200. Also my parents have perfect driving records (and so do I considering I just got my license.)

Probably about 25% more. Look into a 1987-1995 Mustang 5.0 with a 5-speed manual. They're one of the coolest cars ever made, and can get over 20mpg with a V8.

16 + muscle car + new driver your parents record only reflexes there driving record ,i would think about getting something else till you get older and a better rate.

If your driving it will probablly be the same no matter if it was the 6 or 8 in there. some times cars are just marked at the insurance companys as sporty. so unless your comparing a small four door to a mustang you prolly wont see a difference

not sure exactly how much more. but my guess would be like 50 more a month then a v6. its probably going to be kinda pricey though :/ go to progressive.com and do a free quote. its super easy. just put the minimum for everything when you get to that point and will give you a pretty good idea of price for wherever you get it from.
