How much should I expect to get from my insurance company?

My car was totaled off. It was a 96 Suzuki Esteem. It was rebuilt after a previous total loss. Its in decent condition externally and it ran fine until the most recent accident. There is however a small hole in the front bumper from where I hit a hitch of a truck. They have deducted 600$ from what they are willing to pay me for my car. I understand that this question is probably pretty vague, but I'm not looking for a very specific answer. Just an idea of what I should be expecting back.

You said it was rebuilt after a previous total loss? Did they mark the title as "Salvage" after the first accident? If they did you will only get salvage price for the vehicle.
If they didn't they should pay you whatever N.A.D.A says the vehicle is worth less the deductible.
You can find NATIONAL AUTO DEALERS ASSOCIATION books at your public library and look it up yourself...They will tell you what the average price for your vehicle is in your region.
If you totaled it twice, I would be more worried if they were going to cancel my ins...

If it's going to be a total loss, they will likely give you fair market value of the car. Since it has a rebuilt title from a previous wreck, it will likely be very little.
