Am going to start driving lessons in a few weeks and want to have practise on the roads between lessons. How much will it cost me to be added to a friends car insurance. We are both over 25 and she has held her license for over 15 years. She has a Matiz is that's any help!

The only way to find out is for her to ring her insurer & ask for a quote, although many companies won't insure you if you live at different addresses.
Not sure if they will insure cars already insured elewhere, but you could try daily insurance from http://www.tempcover.com/

As a named driver I was added to my mums for a Â£30 Admin Fee.
But I have a Full Licence.
Only way to find out is get her to ask her insurance company.

She needs to contact her insurer to find out thew cost of adding you to her policy. Every case is different as are insurance companies. No one can give you an approximate cost.
