You can just ask your parents to buy you your own separate car insurance. You have to be 18, or 21 in some states, to legally buy your own car insurance. The thing is, since you're in the same household, I think it'd just be a lot cheaper to add another driver on your current insurance. It's going to cost a lot of money to have two separate car insurances.
