I am 17 and a 1/2 and Im about to get my permit in a week. I was really bummed cause I thought i wouldnt be able to get a license until i was 18....but then my friend told me that iin Nevada you can get your license at 17 and a 1/2. Is this true?

thanks guys...i know the driving age but its says on the dmv site that you need to hold your permit for 6 MONTHS before you can get a license...my friend told me that after you are 17 amd a 1/2 this rule no longer applies. Can anyone back this up?

The minimum legal driving age in Nevada is 16. You could have gotten your license a years and a half ago.

My friend who lives in Fallon, Nevada told me she got her license at 17, but I just read online that you can get your licesne at 16 in Nevada.
