Call the DMV of the county that issue tdhe ticket .They can trace it if you give them your licence number or name. It may take a few days before it's in the system though.

It depends on the state that you live in for how long it takes for a citation number to show up on your DMV report. But you can always call the Clerk of Courts at the Court your ticket was adjudicated (tried), whether you appeared or just mailed it in. I am sure that the clerk's olfice can help you. |

Your state might be different, but I'm in California and the same thing happened to me. There's a website you can go to & type in your license plate number & the date and you'll find your ticket info. I think the website was ticketwizard5000.com. Also, I'm sure you could call the DMV or police department in the county you got the ticket in. |

The best way is to get in touch with the police division who issued the citation in the first place. Give them the time, place and type of incident for the citation. |

Contact the DMV, they will have the number and the court it needs paid to. The rest of the question, do you mean after you get the ticket, the amount of time it takes for it to be entered into your driving record? I would think it takes longer than ten days, but that depends on how busy the records dept is, and if there are any back logs. |
