i brought the car from a private seller,i registered the car at the dmv in washington and once i tried to get new tags they told me that it was rejected and that the title i used to register the car wasn't the most current title for the car. i have the newer title number and i know that its in Arizona's dmv system but how can i get it if the title has the previous owners name on it. the car is registered in the state of washington where i am currently stationed but they wont allow me to get new registration unless i get the most current title? how do i go about doing this? i really need some help...thanks

Huh ? If the title doesn't have your name on it it can't be registered to you. A car cannot have two valid titles (owners). If there is another title in another state with someone else's name listed as the owner, how do you think you can use that? Sorry but your question is vague and contradictional. Please reword it |
