My dad is gave me his motorcycle and I have the Nevada title for it. I need him to sign it over to me as a gift. I will be registering it in California. Where exactly do I need to get it signed? Its very unclear where to sign the title...

There should be a place on the (back?) title where it says "Seller information" and another that says "buyer information". Take that signed title to the Cal. MVD and get a new title in your name

Make sure he knows to sign it on the space as a private owner, not on the space as a dealer (if there are separate spaces). Also, he shouldn't sign it until he is in the presence of a notary. Have two forms of ID, one must be a picture ID.
