Any hints and tips welcome. Diesel is at a £1 a litre, it was £1.30 a few weeks ago and it will be again. Insurance is going through the roof. Its only going to get worse so how will we cope.

We will be healthier and fitter. The environment will improve. People will have a stronger sense of neighbourhood and family because they won't be able to travel long distances as conveniently.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not a tree hugger, but when I think about it, I can only think of positive affects.
This is presuming we still have access to basic public transportation as some rail systems can run on electricity. |

bicycles..It will be hard here in the US though. Most travel really far to work. We could all take some tips from the Mennonites, they would know. |

Move closer to town and use public transportation, get a Vespa, a bike, or walk. |

We will all use differnt fuel. e.g. LPG,chip fat,
How ever the price of LPG will go up soon so we will have to resort to some other type of fuel.
We could end up using electric power or recycled rubish. |
