How would i get a license in another state?

i have lived in Florida since i was a kid and i got my license but we are moving to ohio next month. i was wondering what would i need to do. would i have to get another one and if so how would i go about doing it? like would i have to redo the drivers ed in ohio?

also i am 17 years old

You do not need to redo the Drivers Ed., or take the road test, but you probably will need to take the written test. It's similar to Florida's but just glance through the Ohio manual just to refresh your memory.

Just go to the DMV in Ohio and get one. You don't have to retake driver's ed.

You won't have to redo your test. You just need to contact the Ohio DMV once you move to get your new license.

It depends on the state but I believe you typically have 90 days after you move to make the change.

yes you would need to get a new license that pertains to that state. as well as the vehicle has to be registered in the state you are gonna be moving to.

you need to go to the local DMV to where you'll be moving and find out from them exactly what you're gonna need to do. Or go on the city website and find out. I am sure all the answers are on there.

Call the BMV (Bureau of Motor Vehicles) in Ohio and ask them. Their website adress is http://www.bmv.ohio.gov/

I would have to take ur writen test again here in indiana they make u take ur written test aslong as ur old license has not expired

i think u march right in to the drivers license place and give them u old drivers license( surrender it) and then u get a new one.. might need like ur social security card to prove ur the person on the license but. i think its pretty simple.. and no u shouldn't have to re due the drivers ed.. or retest.. u only have to re take the test if u have let ur license expire for like several months. also i think there is time limit on driving with ur old license in the new state u moved too. so i would get it switched right away ..
