I'm devastated that I failed my 2nd driving test? ...?

I couldn't agree more with Britbloke he hit the nail on the head, with that many errors it's hard to see how your instructor can say you are ready and although being nervous is totally natural it can only be blamed for the most minor of faults.

Don't take any pills of any kind, if you can't pass your test without them you shouldn't be on the road alone.

Try another instructor and see what his/her assessment is before even thinking of taking your test again

you don't want to take any tablets when you are about to take your Driving Test most people are nervous when taking their Driving Test it is perfectly normal if you make a mistake and fail just keep practising that particular part of your test it is clearly your weak spot

You're not going to want to hear this, but I'm going to tell you anyway!

If you got 16 minors and 2 serious errors, take it from me that you simply were not ready for your test.

This is also the reason you were so nervous - lack of confidence caused by not being ready.

Your instructor is at fault for submitting you for test. Change instructors. When you are truly ready, you will know in your heart and, believe it or not, you may actually look forward to your test being the day you finally get your licence.

Don't panic, take few lessons with a totally different instructor who will advise you. Don't get nervous, it's only a driving test, they can only pass or fail you, nothing more.
Better luck next time around.

i failed last wednesday, i got 6 minor faults, but he failed me for not looking in the back window enough whilst doing a reverse around a corner.
I thought it was really harsh and i was deeply upset about it but what could i do??? lol

I got lucky and have another test this tuesday coming and i am really confident that i will pass this time.

Nerves do not bother me, just take deep breaths, concentrate and take your time remembering all that you have learnt..you be fine..good luck!!

change you driving instructor as it sounds like you are no ware near ready for your test i would book a assessment lesson with a different instructor and see what they have to say good luck

DON'T GIVE UP!! You will get there!! If you are nervous go to the doctors to se if he could give you something. OR if you are from the UK you can buy some tablets called Kalms. They are very good.

You 2nd driving test /?Don't worry. My Mum passed on her 8th!! BUT SHE GOT THERE AND SO WILL YOU =)

I would not recommend u to take any pills or tablets! they wont help, just try not 2 be nervous and take a few more lessons, if possible then then take some private lessons with someone in your family....no one is perfect, i passed on my 4th attempt so dont worry...just dont give up so soon, you will definatly get there,just re-book your test asap, Good Luck =)

Your trouble is your mental attitude when you take the test. Getting your licence is important to you so you are totally keyed up, a lot of people get the same way at job interviews and for the same reason.

If you can get into the mental attitude where you realise that the test is NOT the be all and end all and if you should fail you will be no worse off than you were before you will do much better. If you can go into that test thinking it would be great to pass today but if not, no problem, i am no worse off than i was and there is always another day you will be calmer.

i was totally gutted when i failed for the second time!! Calms tablets they are natural and do work.
