I'm driving for the first time tomorrow, any tips/advice?

Hey man, Just got my p's so know what ya going thru, The most important thing to remember is that ur not gonna be perfect at first!!! n really no1 should expect ya to be perfect, ull probley go up a curb or to n the first thing dat ull do wrong is touchy accelaration n braking, when u first start driving braking and accelaration is just on and off, the more experience ya get the more smother those two will become just remember to take ur time when u start n drive somewhere quit where theres not much traffic, dont let up easy cause you'll get it eventully,

go to the mall first to get the feel of the car. There you can go a little crazy too and make huge mistakes. Dont fight the steering wheel, just ease it to and fro.

After a couple of hours you should be able to go on the street, easy streets at first and such...

First off, buckle your safety belt. Then check your rear view mirrors to make sure the road is clear before you start moving. Most important just relax but pay attention to what's around you. Try and stay within the speed limit and make sure you obey the stop signs and traffic signals. Good luck. You'll do just fine.

don't try to drive faster than anyone. just drive at your own pace, keeping in mind the speed limits. give yourself enough time to get to your destination. if you are taking the freeway, use the slower lanes until you are confident enough to go a little faster

don't run in to any dairy cows XD, stay calm because your mom is going to be yelling at you turn her, stop there, your going to fast,keep your hands on the wheel, check your back mirror but still keep your eyes ahead of you and many other things so stay calm. Buckle your seat belt, adjust your mirror and be prepared for the most hectic thing in your life, believe me

Take it easy. Focus on not hitting anything and knowing where the car is going to be in 3 seconds time.

Don't worry about people behind you. Not hitting you is their responsibility. Your responsibilities lie in not hitting anyone in front of you.

Better to brake too hard than not hard enough.
