dont worry you will be fine, normally on your first even your second lesson you will be took into a carpark and shown what to do, your instuctor will reasure you and tell you what to do thats what he is there for.
<all insructors have dual pedals just incase> |

It's all cool so you won't have to worry about anything. The instructor is there to help you with things when you need it. Just listen to him and you'll be fine. |

Don't worry your driving instructor will explain all the things you need to know and with driving time behind you,you will feel fine. Best of luck.
Mind you, where I live there are a lot of drivers who have passed their test and still apparently don't know anything about gears, or anything else about driving. |

Your instructor will be used to dealing with new drivers and you won't be expected to know anything. The car will probably have two lots of controls so that the driving instructor will be able to control the car too. Also they will probably take you somewhere quiet without much traffic.
Don't worry, just enjoy it!!! |

its their job to help you out. you are not the first person they have had who has had no experience. so they are prepared. the more you stress the harder it is to learn. so stay relaxed. |

if you dont know how all of it works the instructor will show you, they wont put you on a public road until youre competent to deal with it. |

You will do just fine. Your instructor should explain everything you need to know about the car and how to operate it. Every driving school is different so I can't really tell you what is going to happen first. You should ask the instructor if you can start out in a big empty parking lot first to get the hang of steering and braking the car. They probably won't take you out into heavy traffic though because they don't know how you are going to respond to it so it probably won't be anything too scary to begin with. You'll probably be in a residential area first. Good luck. |

don't worry. the instructor will know it's your first time, and will prob just go over the basics. i was the same, didnt have a clue about anything to do with cars/engine/gears, and i passed first time! just relax, and take it as it comes. good luck! |

Don't worry - they'll explain everything. relax and enjoy - it'll be fun. And just laugh off stalling all the time - we all do! |

You should start in a big empty parking lot, and learn the "feel" of the car, how the brakes feel, how the steering feels. They will teach you what the pedals do and the gearshift does.
everyone learns.
then when driving the car itself, remember to not fight the steering, just let it do it`s thing, and you help to guide it the way you want to go. it will not run away from you! |
