I am 20 years old, and got my driver's license in the state of Oregon when I was 16. I now have 30+ traffic tickets and somewhere around $20,000 in traffic fines that are unpaid. The DMV website says they will revoke a license if a person has 20 or more traffic violations in 5 years. Why is mine still suspended?!?

You think I am making this up? How would I benefit from that...? Apparently it's difficult for you to fathom someone that has as many tickets as I do, but I find it even more difficult to imagine a ******* idiot with nothing better to do than make up bull **** questions to post on the internet. Please.

Because until you are brought into court and forced to stand trial, they can't revoke it. Mind you, if you get stopped or caught, there is now a warrant out for your arrest. And after the arrest and trial, it could be revoked. |

You are lucky that you have not been incarcerated for the fines that are not paid. YOU need to avoid driving and any further violation of the drivers codes and rules. The words """revoked"" and ""suspended"" are about the same in meaning .... TAKE A BUS ... make a deal with the judge to pay out and keep your word ... don't drive .or you will be put in jail ... OK |

don't know but you should give your license back to the state and stay off the road- it's only a matter of time before you kill someone and you end up in jail
there is no excuse for that many tickets, except that you are not capable of operating a vehicle in a safe manner and you endanger everyone else on the road |

suspend (v.) To bar for a period from a privilege, office, or position, usually as a punishment
Merely semantics. Bottom line, you can't drive. Chances are if you paid all your fines, and attempted to have the suspension set aside, they would do so, and then revoke it. |
