The car was stolen, but recovered it does however have a salvaged title. The car has been inspected and is in good condition.
I am curious at to what I need to have done with the title. I have never bought a car with a salvaged title, and it is from out of state. Any issued you can think of? Or tips?

Not sure what state you are in. Call the department of Vehicle registration and ask. Here, Georgia, a car with a salvage title requires a state inspection before you can get a regular title which one needs in order to get a tag. So you might be buying a car that you can't legally drive for a month or so. Buying it from another state also means that you'll have to get the title transferred to the state you live in. Not sure about any issues an insurance company might have with it. Might be easier to find a car with a proper title. |
