my parents are divorced and, therefore, i have 2 "households" am i aloud to have people from both "households" in the car? for example, if i lived with my mom during the week with my 2 sisters and with my dad on the weekends with my step siblings, would i be able to drive to the mall with my sister, my stepsister, and our friend without having to worry about the police pulling us over?

Unless you have a restricted license of some sort you will be ok as long as...... the car is insured and you have a valid drivers license and permission to drive an insured car, it will be covered and doesn't matter who you have or do not have in the car. ....allowed, not aloud |

The important thing is DO NOT CRASH. That's what this law is about. If you get a carload of friends your own age, with your experience level, you will look around at them, and have a big animated conversation. Blab-blab-blab-crash, and you'll all die.
So - this business of taking 3 young kids to the mall is EXACTLY what the law is trying to prevent. Don't do it without an adult. Don't worry about the cops, worry about death. |
