If you cannot pay, call your lender and explain. They may be able to work something out for you. Save yourself a lot of grief. Always stay in contact with those to whom you owe money in case you cannot pay, |

The best thing you can do is stay in touch with your loan officer, when you stop talking to them is when they really want to start looking for your vehicle.Just tell them what happen to you and you want to know if there's any way that you can work some kind of payment arrangement out with them until you get back on your feet. Try to let them know what you might be able to pay for now, if they say yes ,you make sure you pay it are they will go for it. |

You could turn the car in by yourself. It's called a voluntary repossession. The repossession companies charge the lender as much as $500 to pick up a car. The repo cost is added to what you owe if they have to come and get it. Call your lender to find out where to bring it.
Either way, if you bring it in or they come and get you also owe the difference between what they sell the car for at auction and what you owe and your credit gets badly damaged. The best thing you can do is sell the car yourself and give the money to your lender. You'll owe a lot less money and may even make some money on the deal and your credit won't be hurt. |

park in the garage so they cant take it. be careful driving around and if you start getting followed lose the tail and go home and park it in the garage. fyi they can arrest you for not turning over your car. |
