As long as you have insurance and the friend has a valid license, your insurance should pay. You "loaned" your car to your friend. He "borrowed" it. puncuation. |

Insurance follows the vehicle. If your friend was driving legally your insurance company will pay the damages. Legally means he had a valid license and was not committing a crime at the time. Your insurance may go up because you will now be considered a higher risk. You may be an excellent driver but the insurance company considers that you lend your car to less capable drivers. |

so i guess your friend is out some money then since he was driving and it was his flaut then he must pay for it all and now i guess you know you never let anyone borrow a car if they need a ride give it if they want to driv eit while you ride sure great fine but to drive away in ones car means its their car while they driving they pay for what every it needs |
