I bought a used car from someone and they gave me there progressive insurance card...?

Basically I bought this 92 olds supreme s from this guy for $600.00
and he gave me his progressive insurance card and told me I could use
it. It expires july 31, 09. It has his name on it.. Can I use it if I need
it or should I get my own progressive insurance??

you should question the title and registration too, my point is that you should be listed as the registered owner on the title, registration and insurance card. You should get your own insurance because in case of accident his insurance is not going to cover you.

if the title of the car is now under your name, you must get your own insurance, if you get in an accident the ins.company will not cover it!!!
