I got a speeding ticket and used a book called I found on a website called byebyespeedingticket.org. I was wrong for speeding but it's wrong to charge me $240 and raising my insurance rates for all the points for driving a little too fast and I really needed a way out of paying all that money. A friend of mine told me about this book and suggested I get it so I did. I did what it said and only had to end up paying the $25 to have the cop subpoenaed but it was well worth it. My question is if anyone else has used this book? Are these any possible repercussions for using these techniques? Is there anyway this could come back to bite me in the butt...it all just seems too easy and too good to be true but I really didn't want to asking the judge, lol

If it's too easy and good to be true, it is.
You should be old enough to know that.
Here's the repercussions: It ONLY works, if the officer decides not to show.
So, let's say you bought the book, which cost money.
Then you pay $25 for the subpoena.
Then when the officer shows, he states that you were speeding...and oh, look, you still pay the $240 on top of everything else.
And if the cop has any sense about him, he'll tell his friends about you, and you'll have cops pulling you over for all kinds of things.
And no, that won't be harassment, because they will just wait for you to do something else.
The bottom line, is you were speeding. It costs money, because the faster you go, the more people you put at risk. Thus, you are fined for irresponsible behavior.
Secondly, your insurance goes up, because, again, you are irresponsible behind the wheel, as evidenced by your inability to follow a simple speeding limit.
The rate increase and fine are totally justified. The only reason you're complaining, is because you got caught. Don't speed, no ticket. It's pretty easy. |
