im susposed to b getting a car off a friend soon and im only 16 bt ie been told b some people that i cant put the title to the car in my name cuz im under aged and ive beentold by other people that i can so idk...and im 16 years old. so can someone please tell me which is it and i do not want to have the title signed to anyone i my family including my parents cuz my whole family is kinda not trustworthy..thanks everyone...

You can get the car title, registration, and insurance all in your name at 16. Thats what I did. Insurance is going to be pretty expensive though

No. Legally you are a minor and as such you cannot enter into any contract. Don't even try it.
