I have a certificate for the truck.
My boss says I need to admit liability so his insurance company will accept it.
If I have given all the correct info to the car owner and my boss has got my certificate, why does he need in writing that I will pay for the damage?

do not accept liability if you do they will make you pay for it thats what your boss is trying to do get you to sign it was your fault then give it to the owner of the damaged car and say hes liable and the companies not |

If the car was parked on company property, and a notice was not displayed stating that 'All vehicles and their contents are left at owners risk' then the company has to fork out. If a sign was displayed, she will have to claim off her insurance...and she had better hope she has a policy covering Social, Domestic and commuting! |

no you are covered by your employers insurance
also if you were on company property and the car was parked there will be a disclaimer somewhere in the form of all vehicles parked here at owners own risk
sounds like your employer may not have insurance for a fork lift the firm i work for doesn,t have they work on the principal of just paying for any damage done as the premiums for all personnel to drive a forklift are very expensive |

Your companies yard should have a liability notice "Patrons are advised that they park here at their own risk" Not only that was it a restricted parking area an unloading bay? was it a company car or a private vehicle? No you shouldn't have to admit liability for anything. Thats why you have to certified to drive the forklift for insurance reasons. As long as your were on company ground and not negligent the firms insurance should pay for it. But if there is a liability notice then there should be no insurance claim unless off course they want to be on good terms with customers. |
