Hi
one month back i brought the used car and registered in NY DMV , but i didn't receive my title yet, in how many days i will get my title after registration , and what i need to do if i didn't get my title , please wrote what is the procedure , i am new to USA.

If you have your Plates(tags)and registration It will take approximately 8 to 10 weeks for you to receive your title starting from the day your registration was printed. A New car is slightly shorter like 6 to 8 weeks. If in that time you DON't receive It, then you should call the DMV (Better results then If you went to the DMV office, believe It or not) |

Also I would add to the other answers that you might try going to the AAA Auto Club office. (if you're a member) They are often faster than a DMV office and can do almost all the same work.
And yes, it does take more than a month in most cases.
PS: you didn't finance it did you? Because in that case your lender gets it, not you. |
