If you have no licence, then you also have no insurance either.
You can get disqualified from driving which is actually much worse than driving having not passed a test.

It is unlikely but you can be sent to prison for driving whilst disqualified so don't even consider it.

You will be fined. If you want some free advice, turn up at court, say you are sorry and take the punishment on the chin. It won't go away by ignoring it, eventually you'll get found and spend a night in the cells waiting to go before the next available court.

Probably a fine ant points when you actually get your licence , you also had no insurance as you cannot get insurance without one , uninsured drivers cost UK drivers Â£80 per annum om their policies , so hence the negative feeling towards you

if you have an international licence and you have been in UK more than 12 months, your in trouble!
if you have points on your licence already then you will be screwed.
at very least 3-6 points and fines.

I will answer this as a former senior police officer.

You will go to court and under the new "Discretionary Policy" afforded to magistrates and judges he can do any number of things.

He can ban you from driving as it is not just the offence of driving without a license but also the offence of driving without insurance.
He can and likely will fine you.
He can give you a maximum of 9 Points on your license that you don't have.

Don't worry...you don't go to the slammer, but whatever you do, do not EVER consider driving if you are banned. They NOW treat that with NO MERCY.

I just wanna say I havent been a member here long at all, I thought this community was friendly and understanding, but after reading the replies here I think its disgusting the way you are all treating this guy. So he did wrong! How many of the people that have posted replies here have never done anything wrong. Im not religious at all but didnt jesus say something along the lines of "let him without sin cast the first stone"? For those of you that dont have the mental capacity to understand that, it basically means dont condemn other people for doing wrong if you have done wrong yourself. I bet every single person that replied here has commited a crime at some point and no matter how small or petty, a crime is still a crime.

To answer the question asked, you will get an LC20 (driving otherwise than in accordance to your licence) and an IN10 (driving un-insured). When you do get insurance your premiums will be a lot higher because of those convictions. You will also get either a ban and a fine or points and a fine, its not often u get banned, fined and given points for any offence.

Just ignore the small minded people here, they obviously have nothing better to do than insult a guy they have never met for asking a simple question.

Good luck, hope all goes well, but dont get into the habit of it as the penalties will get much more severe if you do it again.

i advise you to contact a solicitor as the courts will take advantage and rape your mum and possibly your little sister if you go in there on your own

as far as i know you will be looking at
a driving ban
points on your licence when you get it
shy high insurance when you apply
a fine
possibly community service

the courts are not very predictable tho..ive been to court many times for offences that are good enough to send me to jail or at least put me on tag and managed to get away with fines under Â£100..

if i was you i would have made up a story like your gf soon to be parent of your child called you saying she was going to commit suicide..courts cant really argue with that.
dont say this if you have all ready made up an excuse tho.

thats just what the government tell you so you get angry at people like him and not at them..its one of the oldest tricks in the book lol..do something bad to 2 people and then tell them that they have both bin ******* eachothers wives then watch them argue as you sneak off.
