I got into a car acident without insurance what do i do?

Ok today i got into a car accident and it was my fault she had the right away....I messed up her car bad, i dont have insurance but i do have a liscence, the car title hasnt been changed to my name yet, i just finish paying it off to the guy i bought it from, the girl has full coverage and she has all my information, shes going to report me, wat do i do? I asked her if she wanted me to pay her deductable but hasnt said anything im wonding if shes going to put a claim on me? whats going to happen if she does? HELP

You're screwed. Depending on if your state requires insurance, you'll most likely lose your license. The girl you hit will have to go through her own insurance to pay for her damages, but her insurance company will come after you personally and will get a judgement against you.

Why why why do people drive without insurance? That is by far one of the dumbest things you can do. And there's no excuse!!!! Paying the other parties deductible is not going to help her out. Now she has to file a claim against her own insurance. Hopefully she has full coverage because if she does not she is screwed. You need to park your car until you get insurance coverage. If you can afford to buy a car and put gas it in(obviously you can because you were driving and you need gas to drive) then you can afford the insurance.

The correct answer to this is dependent upon where you were driving. Insurance laws change from state to state.

However, I hope that the car owner had insurance because if the license plates and title were in his name a the time of the accident, he may also be sued.

why do you think that by paying her deductible, you are doing good? pay for all her damages, car and medical, first.

the guy you bought it from is also on the hook, he is also responsible.

of course she will put in a claim, her insurance will be looking for you.

you will get a monetary judgment against you as well as losing your license for awhile.

Why would she file a claim on her policy, and raise her rates, because you're some jackwad with no insurance? people like you are disgusting, if you can't afford to drive, take the bus. You will lose your license for six months, have a nice fine to get it back, and you will be required to have an SR22 filing for the next 3-5 years depending on how nice your county judge is.

She probably will file a claim with her insurance. Hopefully, she has noninsured motorists on her policy. If not, then she may sue you for damages, etc. Why are you driving around without insurance??
