I got into a major car accident early this morning, it wasn't my fault do I have to tell my insurance company?

There was a six car pile up and a tractor trailer involved. The driver in front of me slammed their foot on the brakes and I had to do the same which caused my car to spin four times around and I when I finally stopped I was facing on-coming traffic. Not even a minute later a girl hit me head on and that resulted in my car being pushed to the right shoulder. The four other cars and tractor trailer also crashed as a result of her not moving her vehicle. It was not deemed my fault because she didn't control her car to avoid mine and the extremely bad inclement weather conditions. Do I have to inform my insurance company or just go through hers?

I believe that you should contact your insurance company. Any one could sue and you may be mistaken that you are not at fault and be sued anyway!!

By law you must fill out a DMV accident report in your words. Yes as a responsible person you would want to get this Information to your ins asap. Do not allow time to lapse too long or a reason of a doubt will occur.
