You have your drivers license, which you are licensed to operate a vehicle, including a moving truck. If you were not "allowed" to drive it, the moving truck company would not rent it to you. |

that depends on your age and your state of residence. In texas you used to have to be 25 to rent a moving van,unless you had obtained a CDL prior, check with your local authorities so you dont risk a ticket |

I have never seen anyone rent a vehicle to some one under 25 with a credit card to rent one, 25 to drive one, sorry about your luck. |

As long as you are not driving anything over 24 ft, the different companies all seem to indicate that a regular drivers license is fine. You don't mention your age, so that is the only other issue.
U-Haul requires that the licensed driver be 18.

You could drive a Ryder or U-Haul type of moving truck.
You cannot drive a big 18 wheeler moving truck unless your license is a Commercial Drivers License. |

I would suggest that you check with your state police. A phone call is alot cheaper than a ticket. |
