I got rear ended Friday...?

There was a crash to the left of us and we were slowed down and she was not paying attention and rear ended me. She Admitted fault and her insurance is paying for the damages to my car (3,000 or more at this point)

When she hit me my head hit the steering wheel, my sunglasses flew off and my sun roof opened..
For the next few hours i was fine but now my neck hurts really bad from whiplash, i have not gone to the doctor because i didnt think its necessary because they will tell me to take pain pills and ice it (which im already doing)

My question is if i dont go to the doctor will they still offer me pain and suffering?

and what is pain and suffering i didnt even know what that was, and what are the conditions of pain and suffering.

its not REALLY REALLY REALLY bad pain its just not normal, like i cant turn my head, and when i drive (i'm borrowing my mom's) i cant look over my sholder.

Umm, unless your car is really old, I don't understand how your head hit the steering wheel. Your seat belt, worn properly, stops you short of that. I was in collision at 100 km hour with a 3 ton truck, and my head didn't hit the wheel.
Go to the doctor and get x-rays. You could have a fracture in your skull, or even in your neck. Those possibilities should be at the top of your list, not whether you are going to get some money.
The soreness should all be part of the police and insurance reports. If you can't shoulder check, you also shouldn't be driving another vehicle.

The tort threshold requirements vary from state to state. Meaning, you must meet certain eligibility requirements before you can pursue a claim for pain and suffering. In some states you need to sustain a serious injury. The injury you describe is not serious. Others have verbal thresholds and in some states the threshold is monetary.

No adjuster will offer you a settlement if you do not have medical documentation. Your say so will not cut it. Prove you sustained a whiplash. Are you a doctor?

Yous sustained a minor injury. In a few days it will have resolved itself. This is not pain and suffering.

If your symptoms continue perhaps you should go see your doctor or go to the ER.

They will offer nothing if you don't see a Doctor. You should at least get checked out by a Doctor though, not so much for any $$ pain and $uffering $$ but for your own health

Being a race car driver I experience whiplash a couple times a year. It'll last about 2 weeks. You won't be able to look over your shoulder, or turn your head more than 45 degrees.

For insurance purposes, you must go to the doctor. If taken to court, the first thing their insurance will want is the proof from the doctor. If you have no proof, it's likely you'll lose your personal injury claim.

You should see your doctor as you don't know how much trouble this injury could cause you in the long run. If you don't, you will have difficulty proving a connection to the accident and possibly find you have to pay your own medical bills when the insurance should cover them

No they need proof. Kinda hard to tell some one your in pain if you never went to the doctor. If She caused 3 grand in damages I would definitely get my head checked out. What you really need is physical therapy. They pay like 3 times your medical bills. You do the math.
