She was hit from behind. I just got the vechile last month. I do have full coverage. I just want to know if my car will be replaced by my insurance even though I was not inside.

If she was driving with your permission, she would be covered under your insurance. If she was hit from behind, it would seem to be the fault of the other vehicle, and they would be paying.
However, insurance coverage doesn't "replace" cars. Your vehicle will be repaired, unless the cost of repairs exceeds the worth of the vehicle. In that case, they may total the vehicle, and give you current value of the vehicle, not what you owe necessarily, and not the replacement costs. |

Yes, as long as you let her drive it. She is covered by your insurance. A girl hit my car a few years ago. It was her boyfriends fathers car. The insurance company paid for it. |

You should read the insurance provisions in your policy. Motor insurance usually covers the driver and anyone the driver allows to drive the car, providing they are licensed. You should, therefore, be covered. |

It should be because it was your veh, however if she has her own insurance they will talk it over with your insur and possibly pay a portion.
Since she was hit from behind, I would file through the other insurance. |

it should be. you might have to argue your point but the basics here is insurance is to pay for an accident. unless they specifically said they will not pay if a particular person operates the vehicle you should be covered. good luck |

Is your niece under 25 years of age? In my country (New Zealand), it is illegal for minors to drive by themselves. The insurance company won't pay out. Unless you have comprehensive cover which includes naming other drivers, the insurance company won't pay out. It's an expensive lesson, one which we had several years ago.But I wish you well. |

It doesn't matter who was inside the car. You get insurance on your car, it doesn't matter who was driving it. As long as your relative was inside, you have full rights to claim your insurance. |
