I had a car accident at work three years ago. It was my fault but i was covered with the company's insurance. I don't work for this company now and im not sure if it even exists anymore. However, two weeks ago i received a notice that the owner of the other vehicle is suing me and the company, but i found out that i was the only one summoned for that case. Please give me an advice what should i do???

I don't know if i can afford an attorney. Aren't they expensive? And i don't know anything about the company's insurance company

You need to contact the insurance company you were covered by when working for your old company. They will assign you an attorny. |

This is simple. Forward a copy of the papers to the insurance company that covered you at the time of the accident. Just becasue the policy is no longer existent in no way means you are not covered now. At this time you have no need for an attorney, if the insurance company does not step up to its obligations then you get an attorney to sue the insurance company.
