I'd like to know how you ended up with $7K in parking tickets? And the rules for filing bankruptcy are much more difficult than they were just 1 year ago. You might not even be eligible now without taking some classes and trying to 'right' yourself before you can officially file.
I'd get with a bankruptcy lawyer as soon as possible if I were you. In the meantime, get used to public transportation.
If I were a judge and you showed up in my courtroom with $7K in parking tickets, you'd never drive again. Where I live, I'd have to get a parking ticket every working day for nearly 8 months to even come close to $7K!!! Every day for 8 months!!! 8 months!!!
At any rate, good luck on paying your fines and getting around without a license. |

I did not know that you could file bankruptcy on parking tickets. I thought that you had to pay them or they would put you in jail. |
