I have failed my driving test 5 times. And have experienced 1 terminated test. I have another test in 2 weeks ?

Please tell me where you are and when and where you go for lessons.

Every time you fail obviously means that at that time, your driving doesn't reach the required standard. You'll continue to fail until it does. Better for the examiner to be sure you can drive properly before handing you a pass, I think.

think about the reasons you have failed ! did you understand the reasons you failed ? when the examiner told you what you did wrong did you think to yourself yeah i knew that was wrong. if you didn't know you had done anything wrong then you were not ready. if you know what you should have done then keep going for the test. if you didn't get some more practise with an instructor who will only put you in when YOU are ready. as a driving instructor i come across people like yourself. some are unlucky some are not ready ! honestley you will kow which one you are. GOOD LUCK

How many lessons have you had? My instructor always says that if someone fails it's a sure sign they need at least 3-5 more lessons before their next test.

Yea everytime you fail shoes how dumb you are and that you cant drive sorry but its the truth, well dont be nervous and hopefully you might do good!

First things first, you need to relax and calm down. Being scared makes you tense and nervous causing you to make mistakes.In the next 2 weeks you need to study up on the parts of the tests you failed so you don't make the same mistakes.Like when I took my drivers test I couldn't parallel park or back up straight, so I had to practice those before I could pass.It helps to sit in the driver's seat of the car you'll be driving, get familiar with all of the controls of the car like the headlight switch, wipers, adjust the mirrors and seat to fit you, until your comfortable just being there. When you go take your test, before you get in the car take a couple of deep breaths to calm down and tell yourself "Ok, I can do this"! If you can in the next 2 weeks, drive as much as possible even if it's just around the block once a night. I remember my first driving trip with my mom before I got my license. I was a total wreak! We were on this two lane highway and the big semi trucks would pass going the other way, I would move the car over as far off the road as it would go without going off the road! I was so nervous my palms were slick under my death grip on the wheel! But it got better the more I drove! Hang in there, you can make it!

I know exactly what you mean, i have failed 6 times..and for such stupid things..like really minor things. And the most annoying thing is the wait between tests, cant get another one until the end of december.
I know for a fact im a better driver than half my friends that have passed, i think we are just getting unlucky. I just have to keep thinking i will pass one day. We have too!!

nener give up your hope...........one day you get success. driving in uk is not only turning the stering and balancing the clutch. it is overall knowledge . i also have failed my driving 4th time and got success in next . in my experience you should follow these things. 1. Take deep rest before driving test. if you work then take a holiday or day off for at least 2 days before. 2. Practice as much as you can specially big roundabouts . always follow the lane rule and be extra care of traffic lights. ask your instructor for more practice in 3rd exit. 3. maneuver practice once in every lesson .....don't depend on only reference point you can change some sort of distance as your convenience . 4. when turning right check there might be one way just near the other road . check road sign before proceed ,and practice more and more specially turning right from middle of the road . 5.when going dual carriageway always check the road sign especially merging sign. if you are merging from right always take your position right as soon as possible. do same process from left also.never ever forget check center and left or right mirror(it depends where you are merging) before change the lane . if you forget to check your mirror it will be serious as well as dangerous. 6.always go slow in junctions .........give special care in box junction when turning right. always follow the traffic lights and wait for the signal . 7. at last but not the least ......before one hour take one or two paracetamol tablets before taking driving test. and try to avoid nerve.
