So here it is when i was 13 i was at the nike outlet with my friends and i got caught trying to steal shoes, and i get caught they told me that i was banned from there i just had to return the shoes and my parents had to come pick me up the security wrote down my name and all ,does that mean i it goes into my record.
i was young and acted like a fool and regret it, i haven't done anything wrong since. I'm trying to get a job and i don't know what i should put yes or no have i done anything breaking the law. Right now im trying to get a job and put it on a application.

If they didn't call the cops or take you to juvenile court then you lucked out and you have no record. Take it as a blessing and no, you don't have to list it. Stay straight and good luck for your future in the job market. |

If you were not arrested you DO NOT have a criminal record, don't mention it on your job application and don't steal anymore... |

The only person that can give you a 'record' is a judge. The police have to formally arrest you, you go to court, and the judge can sentence you to whatever - Then you have a record. Sounds like you're okay. |
