Many of the answers given here so far could be right and wrong - it all depends upon your particular policy and whether you have permission to drive the other vehicle from the owner.
My advice would be to call you insurer and check your policy. |

No. You cannot drive a hired car or a leased car. You must also check your policy to see if you can drive another car on third party only. and of course, you must have the owners permission. You cannot also drive a car on third party only if the owner has fully comp insurance. |

In the UK normally yes. But check the small print of the policy to make sure.
But you must have the permission of the owner to drive the car (otherwise the insurance is invalid). Also the cover is third party only, so you can't claim if it goes on fire or gets stolen.

I would check your policy, normally you can drive any car third party if you are fully comp. |

as I understand it you need Fully Comprehensive Cover to drive somebody else's car with their permission and af course you have to have a valid driving licence. |
