if you are the buyer you sign on a line where below the line says;
signature of purchaser or purchaser signature
just read the back of the title slowly and carefully to find this. usually one third the way down the page in the middle
read twice, check twice, ask another....... then sign
OR, LEAVE IT ALONE AND WHEN YOU BRING IT TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY TO REGISTER IT, THEY WILL SHOW YOU WHERE TO SIGN |

The actual design of titles varies from state to state. Some sign on the front and others on the back side of the title. Just look for the line that says something to the effect of "Buyer's Signature". That's the place you should sign. A foolproof way to determine the exact spot is to take the title to your local Department of Motor Vehicles (or whatever it's called where you live) office and have them show you. You have to go there anyway to change the title over. |

Go to the DVM and ask if you aren't sure. It's usually the spot that says "Printed name of buyer" and "Signature of buyer" |
