I just bought a car? it doesnt have any plates , how can i bring it home?

i live in NY. i saw many answers that say it varies state by state.
in Michigan they said you have the right to drive 7 days from the point of sale to your home. can you do that in new york?

i bought a car today , the dmv is closed till Monday.

i wanna bring the car home from the place that the private owner had it.
what can i do legally, and what can i do not so legally to bring it home today.

You can have insurance on the vehicle before you get your plates. Just drive it home if you get stopped show your proof of insurance.
