Forget the car thing. That is dead in the water.
If you are female say you were too embarrassed to say, but you had 'womens problems'.
If male, the same thing. You had a bad rash or something. Either way, you say you were too embarrassed to go to the doctor and that you just waited for it to go away. She should be too embarrassed to push it further. Don't elaborate too much on your 'problems'. Force her too ask YOU about it. She won't want details about your privates... |

Tell her the truth and take your lumps. Lying was a bad idea, but you aren't the first college kid to lie to her, and you won't be the last. Make up the work you missed, EVEN IF YOU WON'T GET CREDIT. That will show that you are serious about learning the material, not just getting a grade. Everyone is entitled to a second chance, but it is your responsibility to earn it. Get tutoring, find a study buddy in your class, but learn the material. Your only chance is to BE a kid that made a mistake and is atoning for it. Don't just pretend. College is all about learning, you need to learn from this mistake. By the way, professors DO talk to each other, so unless you blew off all your classes, you're busted anyway. Throw yourself on the mercy of the court. |
