I lost my license...?

(Actually, it's a state ID)
But I took a couple photos of it for an online job I was applying for. All information is clearly visible in the picture because I used a high def camera. I have all information I would need on the front of the photo to verify that I am me. Is there anyway having the photo and id number would speed the process of applying for a new one? What if I brought my laptop to the DMV or printed a copy of it to show to the person at the DMV? Would it make any difference or not? I'm in Texas, if that helps any.

It really doesn't matter. This is what the Texas DPS website below says you need to do:
1) I have lost my Texas Identification Card. Where do I go to get a replacement?
You must visit any Texas Driver License office, present proof of Identity, and pay the required fee. |

In Florida you can get a replacement on line. Avoid the DMV and the lines. If you go in person bring the copy, also if you are driving bring it in case you get pulled over. Either case, it might help. |

go to DMV ,state name lic.# and tell them yours is lost ,they'll issue another for a nominal charge i'm sure. |
