I moved from North carolina to FL, i lost my car title, and my tag will expire in 2days, What can i do?

I know i need the title to change the tag and then renew it, right?
How can i get a duplicate for my title and where?

You will have to file for a duplicate title in the last state where it was titled (North Carolina). Then wait til it arrives (6 weeks?) and then take it into the Florida DMV and file for a Florida title. You can get Florida tags the same day. Lesson: don't put off replacing a lost title until the last minute or you'll be walking.
