I lost my licence for 9 months. my lawer gave me a form to fill out so i can drive to work, and school. i filled out petition and the college said that they will not exept the form that there is a special school one i need to fill out. I live in maine, and i have NO idea where to find this form. i asked my lawer but he is taking a realllly long time to email me back.
doest anyone know what the form is called or where to find one?

You need to get this form directly from the school. You should check their website, or ask at the registrar's office. If all else fails, ask the person who told you that they won't accept yours. |

Have you had a hearing? If not, you are not even under consideration. Phone the number! Phone tomorrow, first thing!

"The Maine BMV might issue a work-restricted driver's license after a BMV suspension if you can show the following:
-Proof of hardship in getting to school or work
-Valid driver's license for two years prior to suspension
-Suspension was not court-ordered
To find out whether you will be considered for a work-restricted license, contact the BMV hearing section at (207) 624-9000, ext. 52113. If you are eligible, the BMV will grant you a hearing by phone or in person. " |

y not go back to ur school and ask them which form it is they might have one there at their office u can get. |

Please explain what the school has to do with it. The license is issued by the STATE. What kind of petition are you talking about? The only form I know of would be what the lawyer gave you, that has to be approved by the judge and/or state.

So you just want a restricted license..The court directly issued mine on the court date.
But I would contact your school, your lawyer probably won't know much about your school's policies on allowing restricted driving privileges. |
