my dad and I are buying a jeep wrangler 4.0 v6 4x4..
it will be in his name when he gives the guy his payments.. but the money is coming from my dad.. so pretty much my dad is buying it, but im paying him back when he makes the payments cause it goes straight from his paycheck every week... to a credit program at his work...
ok heres the deal..
can they take it away from me, even though im paying for it?
or you can tell me the (cants and can dos)

It doesn't matter who actually makes the payments. The only thing that matters is whose name is listed on the title as the owner. Is the seller financing this jeep himself ? Is he leaving the jeep in his name ? If so, don't do it. You could pay for the jeep and the seller could tell you to go to H*** and he would still legally own the Jeep after you paid him thousands of dollars. be very careful ! |

Legally it's your dad's car. you have no right to it. He owns it, he pays for it, it's his. Unless you have a written agreement, witnessed by a third party, that it is in fact yours, which he would be an idiot to do because if you stop paying him, it's still yours, It's his. Just behave and you won't have to worry about it. |
