have you tried all the comparison sites?
how about asking a parent to take the insurance out and you be the named driver
that usually cuts costs |

Have a look on moneysavingexpert.com he can suugest ways to make it cheaper.
Do NOT do what the above suggested, have someone else as the named driver, not you. This is known as fronting. |

a good way to get cheaper quotes is to check comparisson websites, then phone cheapest quote. dont tell them from site as they add on a little extra to pay site. then skim a little off the quote and say it was from another provider and they should be able to beat their own quote, this can then be repeated with other insurance companys, always skim a little off the quotes you receive and by the end you should get a quote that cant be beaten or 1 that you are happy to pay.
i did this for mine after i passed and works
1.6 hatchback,24, first yr , 820 swinton insurance
2nd year 370, esure
hope this helps |

Hello
The main problem is that it is Insurance category G (import) I cannot even find what Group it is
The FTO Owners club now has a Special FTO Policy with Aon Risk Services Limited
You have to be a member of the FTO Owners Club to use this services but the chances are you will save the membership fee straight away on your insurance.

Hi,
Try Confused.com - www.confused.com
Another thing you can try is adding an experienced older driver as a named driver to your policy as they may bring the price down.
You can try increasing your voluntary excess and get a thatcham approved alarm/immobiliser installed.
There are other things you could try but would resulting in lying to the insurance company and would render you basically without insurance.
Hope That Helps

Use comparison sites and try adding an older person with a clean licence as a named driver (Not the policyholder) just a named driver this could bring the price down. |
