I need help with car insurance?

Is it possible to insure two cars under one name and list someone as a driver and not a car owner?

Yes, that's exactly how insurance works and any insurance quote form you will be filling will give you a chance to specify how many cars you own and if you want to add someone else to your policy.

You can own as many cars as you can afford. You can insure those cars with no problem. You can also list others as authorized drives on any and all cars.

Your rates will be based on the driving records of all the drivers. If a driver a poor record, you will expect to pay a lot more. If the record is bad enough, the insurance company can refuse to cover that person.
