Call the DMV and see if they offer a hardship payment for someone in your position. Might be a good idea in the future not to break the law in the vehicle if you need to drive so badly.

First, signup for an english and grammar class. Next, get your butt out from in front of the computer and hit the streets. Go to temp agencys, go by the supermarkets and fast food joints in your area. Half the time my license is suspended and that never stopped me from making a living, supporting myself and paying my bills. I'm all alone also. So get off the pity bus and get your butt in gear!! There is a difference between people who just want a job and people who actually want to work for a living. Which are you? Notice I didn't mention welfare, if you're able-bodied, there's no need for it. Find the pride in your heart and get going!

You are not stuck!

See if you can get some free cognitive or hypnosis lessons at a local free mental health clinic, seriously, they can help rephrase your inner voice tapes to not feel so stuck or sad or hopeless. I would do that first.

I am sorry for what you are gonig through. I don't blame you for where you are now. But it is up to you whether to improve.

Make a budget. Even with the teeny bit you have, are you spending too much on junk food or cable tv for example? Ditch all that.

Go get a job LOCALLY. It does'nt matter what it is .... just anything to get yourself going where you can walk to work or take the bus. If you can't leave the kid, then take in laundry and/or babysit (but don't start one of those insane day care centers please).

Have faith in yourself.

You can do it!

Eat right and exercise a bit every day even if it is just walk once around the block. Seriously, get moving (or moving more).

As for the DMV, it is merely a symptom of the whole negative situation. Sit dow nright now and write them a 3 sentence letter, tell them you will start payments TODAY. Put a one dollar bill in it and send it off.

You can move mountains if you take baby steps.

Being in that situation you should have been more careful NOT to get into a situation where you have traffic fines to pay. They don't just 'fall from the sky' after all, you have to do something wrong, get stopped, get ticketed, and a court assign guilt and a fine before you are in that situation.

Sorry, I have no sympathy. It's a matter of choice and consequence. You made some bad choices, now live with the consequences. Find a job, and a way to get there which doesn't involve driving unless and until you have paid off your fines and have a license.

It really depends on what you have to offer to others. if you can do some type of services for someone like taking care of elderly or cleaning house, baby sit. You should be able to make some money. I needed someone to do oil Massage for my mom but I can't afford to pay professionals but someonel like you can help someone like me and we can barter & Exchange our services. I can teach you computers and you can utilize that knowledge

Don't know how old you are but if you are young, you can find many jobs that some old people cannot do. yo need to do something for your self, stop following the loosers, just make sure your child get a good life.

Unfortunately, you are learning some very hard life lessons. I am not about to judge you on your lifestyle and past choices, all I can offer is a little bit of encouragement. First of all, start thinking positively, you cannot go forward if you are in a negative mood. Next, realistically look at the alternatives available to you as far as transportation goes. Walking, cabs, the bus, community shuttles, friends and so on. Next, get yourself motivated, make a goal that you are going to get a job in a certain amount of time and then do it. Doing nothing is not an option, doing nothing will get you nowhere and further into the whole. Finally, think about the long term. What would you like to do with your life? There are alot of programs for people in your situation that help you get an education and training for a career. Check into your local community resources for adult education, occupational training and college programs. Make the decision that you are going to better yourself and create the life you want for you and your kids. The secret to all of this is to make a plan and put it in motion. It is not going to happen overnight, but as long as you go forward, good will happen. Best of luck and go for your dreams.

Take the bus to work, pay your fines, be responsible for your actions, life will improve, when you improve yourself.

Call the DMV or the court that issued the tickets and explain your situation. In many cases they will reduce the fine or maybe give you some sort of extension to make payment.
Go to a few places within walking distance from your house and try to get a job to get yourself out of the hole.
Also, drive safely and park in designated areas so that you dont get yourself into this situation again.
