First of all, as mentioned in the title, I am 15 and I need a class E driver's license.
Before you reply to this with "just wait," let me explain why.
I have TWO part time jobs:
Working at a grocery store,
and working as a photographer for a newspaper.
Second, I am an active member of FFA and Chorus, which both call for after school meetings/practices.
I also have to be early for school because... well... i'm crazy and there's never a doubt in my mind that I forgot to do something.
So is there ANY way to get a class E driver's license in FLORIDA at age FIFTEEN??
Someone mentioned a hardship license. But the only information I can find about that is that you need a hardship license if your license got suspended.

A hardship is for hardships. Unless you are living in poverty and your jobs support your entire family, you are out of luck. Maybe look at a moped or motorcycle under so many CCs power. Also, look at the laws of driving those on city streets.
In my state you could drive a farm truck, for farm business. |

you have to look up the youngest you can be.
in my state you can get your permit at 15 and 9 months.
and the earliest you can get your license is 16 and 1 months.
i doubt theyll give you your license, no matter how mature you are because they still require you to take drivers ed and have your permit for a number of months before you can get your license.

No you can't. They have to draw the line somewhere. If they let 15 year olds drive, then what about 14 year olds? What you have isn't a hardship, it's an inconvenience. Your reasons for wanting to drive may be valid, but they are all personal choices. You shouldn't participate in activities if you don't have a way to get to/from them. |

No, sorry son but that's the way It is. Not every child is as mature and as responsible as you are. We all have to suffer for others, in this life. Also, you do not qualify for a hardship license. That only comes into play if you already HAVE a license. Unfortunitly, you don't qualify. I still admire your attitude. |
