So, its a very long story but I am living in my car because my aunt who is crazy kicked me out. We have a lot of bad history (related to the death of my parents) and I moved out when I was 17 (I am now 21). I had to come back along with my brother because I lost my job. She gave me some time to find a job but I was focused on getting my GED, and even though I put in up to 5 applications a week, I havnt received any calls back (I live in Michigan, terrible economy).
I also have a girlfriend who Ive been through 7 years of chasing with. We just finally got together this year and then this happens. I have nothing but my car and my bike (my license is suspended at the moment so no driving) and occasionally my uncles couch. I dont have many friends now because I had to cut ties with a lot of them while trying to find a job. I really dont want to loose her, she is all that keeps me going right now. Is there anyone who has lived in their car? What can I do to improve my situation? How can I possibly keep my girlfriend happy? How do I deal with all the anger toward my aunt? I am so stressed out and hopeless feeling I feel like killing myself most of the time to escape. I wont do that though. I just need some advice and some way to relate to people who have lived through similar events, if you havnt, I dont care I will take any advice. Thank you!

Keep your head up! I know a lot of people don't want to here it, but I would pray about it. I'm not a professed christian either. I just was raised in that environment. An I have seen it work. I was also in a situation like you, except I didn't have a car to live in. So I prayed about it, and a man gave me enough money to get to Ohio where my sister lived. Our parents are gone also. And now 5 years later I have a wonderful wife, a new truck, boat, car and a very nice home. Also, I recently got my GED. You owe it to yourself, so keep working on it! Also, you might be able to get help with it, in your state. Good Luck!!! |
