There's something you're not telling us. What sort of offense was it? Drag racing? Fleeing and eluding? Driving without insurance? Driving while intoxicated? Hit somebody working in a construction zone? 120 in a school zone? And was it one time, or multiple violations?
If you're looking for sympathy, it's in the dictionary between "stupid" and "syphilis."

It is TOTALLY UNFAIR.................
.....................to all of the other drivers that has had to share the road with your unsafe & illegal driving.
Can't do the time? Don't do the crime!
Driving is only a privilege, not a right. The state is under NO OBLIGATION to give you a driver's license- ever!
You thumb your nose to the rules that go along with that privilege & your privilege to drive can & will be taken away. |

Your question leaves out a lot of details, but if you committed the same offense three times, you get three tickets. What's unfair about that? What another state did has no bearing whatever on your state's laws; you probably knew the law and elected to ignore it--three times! |

I agree that you should not try to fix the Michigan state treasury all by yourself. I think it's time to hire a good attorney who can negotiate a fair settlement. I know one in Lansing if you need help.
