three years from date of conviction . Though most insurance companies ask for your history going back 5 years as a minimum. 3 points wont affect your premiums much but failure to disclose may result in invalid insurance cover and possibility of blacklisting or further criminal charges |

No, I believe that they are only current for 3 years and can be removed after 5 years. |

They will stay on your licence for 5 years and then will be removed. As long as your careful not to get any more as this will start to effect your insurance. |

they stay on your liscence for 3 years and can be removed after 4years ( for a fee) If you are moving address after the time as the 4 years are up then the points will be removed for free when you change your address details.
Some insurance companies will insist that you declare your points for 5 years after recieving them even though the police say that they are spent. |

They stay on until it expires but they only count in the "totting up" procedure for 3 years. |

In my state, the insurance comapnies know before you do that you got the points. They stay on for about 3 years. If you do the "defensive driving" course (it's one day and very easy, all classwork), they can remove a few and you get 10% off insurance. Then you can do the advanced course after a year and get some more off. |

The points will normally affect your insurance for 3 years. The points will count towards loss of license for up to 3 years in most states. The violation will stay on your record permanently. |

Yes they will be with you till the day you die. Peter will see them on your documentation on entering and immediately cast you down to burn in hell for the rest of eternity. When your time for reincarnation eventually comes round you will be sent back as a May fly with the words "Have a nice day!"
(I think it's 3 years) |

No, they last a couple of years. But you have to tell your insurance company straight away as points affect your premiums and you may not be covered if you have an accident and you have not told them about this. |

No, they don't stay on forever. I believe if your license stays clean for 18 months, then those points will come off. |

No they don't stay on forever.
Some court judges will allow you to go to driveing school. Upon completion of driving school all points are removed. (usually for 1st time offenders only)
