I reversed into a lotus elise a few weeks ago. When i do it I do it in style!!!! i can only cheer you up by joining you and maybe showing how it could be worse?!?!? |

it happens to the best of us. could have been worse. for example, my ex husband has so far hit 1) a parked car 2) moving cars twice 3) a fire hydrant 4) a cement pole at a gas station 5) a train (long story; don't ask) needless to say, i told him to stay away from airplanes cuz that's pretty much the only thing left that he could add to the list! |

The piece of metal and plastic called a car must be his
'Pride and Joy'. Would he still be ignoring you , if you were lying in a hospital bed?... I don't think so!!.... The excess should be agreed at the purchase of the car insurance , the £500 excess must have been agreed. The more excess you pay , the less the insurance payments will be. It's only a 'prang' which can be repaired. Please don't get over emotional about it. It's only a car. Listen , accidents happen and everyone is bound to have one , everyone is fallible. You never said if the Police were involved , if so , you should have been given a Police Number for your insurance Co. Hpe you didn't admit liability there and then? Your hubby is in a huff and will come round....eventually!! |

how bad did you damage the other car . it might be worth your while settling with cash |

No one was hurt except in feelings and pride. We all do daft things and perhaps your husband will do the same or worse before long.
You can then disguise your grim satisfaction by being so sickingly sugary sweet to him, as you make your feelings known by a few of the gentle humiliating remarks which only a wife can make |

Oh ,just tell him you did hit the car just to p**s him off, everyone has accidents even him,
he needs to grow up,just smile at him don't let him make you feel bad, as long as no one is hurt |

Don't worry too much about it, just know that you have got the upper hand when your hubs does it :)

Your insurers are liable. not you. Send them the bill. You did tell them about it didn't you? |

It wasn't your fault. That car isn't normally there. |

Go all the way with it: When you hit someone's car, get a crowbar out of your trunk, open their hood, and finish the job.
Bummer for you though. |
